High School trail connector

Completed in the fall of 2024, the High School trail connector is a 1.25 mile section of new trail on the White Mountain national forest. The new trail was entirely hand built with the help of many volunteers and USFS trail crews. This trail bypasses FS rd 380 that is currently used to connect the Marshall trail system to the rest of the west Side trail system and makes the High School trail a loop. This new singletrack along with 4 other relocations on the existing trail truly transform the High School trail.

Pine Hill project

Completed in the summer of 2023, the pine hill project was a group effort with Recon Trails and WMnemba on Upper Saco Valley Land Trust property. WMnemba received a signature grant from NEMBA that contributed to the costs of construction as well as hundreds of hours of volunteer labor from club members. The end result is a wonderful trail that climbs and descends Pine Hill adjacent to the Kennett High School and provides a home trail for the MTB team to train and compete on. This trail also serves the community by connecting to other trails in the valley and providing learning opportunities for students in the valley.
